As the night progressed on Emma and Leighton's little sleep over they went into more detail getting to know each other. Emma began to realize just how well her and Leighton fit together and that he was the very reason she began her search for her better half because that's just what she realized he was. So digging even deeper for even more courage Emma confessed the emotional roller coaster she was experiencing with Leighton and asked him if he would be opposed to going steady. Feeling very much the same way Emma was and wanting to see what life had in store for them Leighton said yes.
And with that Emma leaned in for her first kiss with Leighton to officially seal the deal. Which as you can imagine lead to making out. Things were certainly getting heated up.
Before you knew it Emma and Leighton found themselves in the bedroom where Emma experienced overwhelming satisfaction. (Don't pretend like you don't know what happened)
Right after all the fun had died down Leighton drifted off to sleep while Emma rested her head on her hand gazing down at her new best friend, lover, and boyfriend. As Emma just sat there staring all these images started flashing in her mind; weddings, babies, old age, a life filled with the promise of new and exciting adventures. Emma realized things were progressing way too fast (by her standards) but when you know you know and she just could not wait any longer and so with that Emma decided to do something that could be considered either very brave or very stupid....
And got down on one knee and asked Leighton to be hers and hers alone for the rest of their lives. (I think Leighton was surprised by her popping the question, or maybe he was just excited that his dreams were coming true.)
Leighton trying to contain his joy as best he could said yes to Emma's Proposal and was so happy that when he went to hug her he just about hugged all the air out of her lungs. In all of the excitement Leighton nearly forgot one important detail that he neglected to mention about himself (you'd think he'd remember this one) so he sat Emma down on the bed took a deep breath and began to tell her something that he never bothered to tell the other women he dated over the years because things never got as far as they did with Emma. He had a son, and so not only would she be inheriting a handsome husband but a handsome son as well.
Emma was a little scared and shocked at first about becoming a mom but decided if this kid was as great as her soon to be husband then she was willing to accept the challenge.
The next afternoon while Leighton was at work Emma decided to get to know her son to be and helped Sam with his homework. As she ate lunch she noticed that today for some reason she seemed to be extra hungry.
Emma also noticed that she was involuntarily spending a lot of time in the bathroom. Every time she ate or thought about food she would run to the bathroom to relieve herself of the food she digested.
Emma went home hoping she wasn't sick with food poisoning or something worse. She also didn't want to get Leighton and Sam sick if she was.
While at home Emma tried to take her mind off things and decided to focus on painting. Try as she might it just wasn't working because Emma couldn't get her mind off her upcoming nuptials. She was excited but also extremely nervous and a little apprehensive. (ya I know why would she be considering, she moved so fast in the first place right?)
Emma woke up early the next morning a little less nervous but then that would soon change. Still feeling the affects of the sickness of the past couple of days a shocking idea dawned on her that she didn't consider. Hoping to plumbob she was right Emma rushed to the nearest drug store to get something that she knew would help to either confirm or deny her suspicions. When she got home took the necessary steps and then sat on the edge of her bathtub holding her breath. When the moment of truth had arrived Emma looked down at the test (yes pregnancy test) she had bought to find out to her shock and excitement that she was expecting a little bundle of joy. She hoped for a boy. Emma didn't want to scare or worry Leighton before the wedding so she decided not to tell him until after.
Emma went to check her mail, only to find a letter from Leighton saying: " Words are sweet, but can't kiss. Get over here and let's discuss our feelings...." After a letter like that she decided against keeping the baby secret. So Emma headed over to Leighton's right away to tell him the good news.
When she arrived Leighton was getting ready to come and see her. Emma wasted no time in telling him that she was expecting.
Leighton was overjoyed by the news and said, "Lets not wait to get married. Let's get married right here right now." And so they did.
And now I am happy to present to you Mr. and Mrs. Lee.

Emma started the next day with painting. I mean she did have to make a living right? So off to the easel it was.
After a couple hours of painting she decided it was time to check the mail. She had hoped to find a letter from Leighton. But no such luck.
Instead she had received a letter from someone she could have lived without hearing from ever again, Hank Goddard. (You know the one who has a wife!) The letter went like this: "I've been too shy to say it in person, but I really care about you a lot. Do you feel something for me?"
Emma wanted to scream "YES ITS CONTEMPT. LEAVE ME ALONE!" not that it would do any good.
Feeling disgusted and needing to calm her nerves she decided a thorough house cleaning was in order. As soon as she was done with her many chores she called up Leighton and invited him over.
To her delight he said yes. So she decided to gussy up a little before he arrived.
Emma was tired of beating around the bush and wanted to look her best so she could win his heart and possibly her first kiss.
Soon Leighton arrived, and before she knew it they were flirting away like two teenagers in love.
Wanting to take it slow Emma decided the next best step was to try for a hug first and to her great joy it was a huge success. At this point they decided to go on their first date to the movies followed by a quiet and intimate dinner.
Emma and Leighton both didn't really care too much for the movie. They really just wanted to eat and spend some more time getting to know one another (and in the process getting lost staring into each others eyes because lets face it they were made for each other).
After dinner they walked around town talking and flirting until they found a nice spot to sit and relax.
Seeing how bright and beautiful the stars were tonight Emma asked Leighton if he would like to sit and stargaze for a bit. Of course he said yes. That is when Emma decided it was time to act and she ever so slyly grabbed his hand leaning in closer to him.
Before she knew it they were whispering sweet nothings in each others ears and lets be honest, things were really heating up at this point. (at least emotionally)
Leighton being the gentleman that he was took Emma home without so much as a good night kiss. Both of them enjoyed each others company and said that they hoped the next date would be more lively.
Emma took the next morning off so she could enjoy the the beautiful weather and the Summer Festival that was currently taking place. First she decided to join in on the eating contest.
Ready, Set, Goooooooooooooooo!
Wow! Look at her stuff her face. Ha Ha. It looks like she is in the lead, but can she win?
Looks that way. Winning the eating contest Emma ended up taking home a weeks worth of hot dogs (not that she could stand to eat anymore) and some festival tickets.
While at the festival Emma received an invite to Leighton's party. She of course happily accepted.
Looking at her watch Emma noticed she still had some time before Leightons party so she decided that there was time for a snow cone and some roller skating action.
After a couple hours practice Emma finally got the hang of skating and then decided it was time to be off to Leighton's party.
At the party it was apparent to everyone there that Leighton and Emma only had eyes for each other. After a mental pep talk Emma worked up her courage and asked Leighton if she could stay the night (because frankly she didn't want to leave just yet and her curiosity at what could be got the best of her)
Will she get that kiss she has been after, or will it go further and she ends up pregnant? You'll find out this and more in the next chapter. Who knows maybe aliens will even make an appearance. You won't know unless you tune in next time ;). Thanks for reading!

Emma Lee has big dreams of having a huge family one day and being a big time artist. She is also very flirty, and nurturing at the same time. Maybe being lucky will come in handy finding the perfect mate.
Emma's first night in her new home, making something yummy for dinner.
Mmmm autumn salad her favorite. Then it was off to bed, since she had arrived in Sunset Valley at 6:00pm.
While Emma was dreaming the night away an alien decided to creep around her home to see what he could find out about this strange new world.
After Emma had got herself all ready for the day she headed out in the rain to the school for a class on painting. Just the first thing on her list to do today.
Next was City Hall to register as self employed. She was successful. Now to become an awesome artist. Now that item number two was crossed off the list it was time to try and find Mr. Right. So she headed on down to the park where there was a festival going on.
Having lucked out at the festival Emma decided she needed a drink and headed on down to Lowest of Lowe's Dive Bar. Where everyone happened to be hanging out.
That is when the unthinkable happened. Hank Goddard started to flirt with her. Emma started to wonder if this man could be the father of her future children, so she started to ask him if he was single. Come to find out he is married to Pauline. What a player. So Emma wiped him from her mind.
Finally resting peacefully at home after a very productive day. Emma dreamt of the children she will have one day. Maybe she will have better luck tomorrow on Love Day finding a mate for life.
Upon waking the next morning Emma decided that the library would be her first stop of the day. She wanted to use their computers to set up an online dating profile, hoping that it would help her find her soul mate. She ran into Conner Frio, who happened to be single and family-oriented. Just what she was looking for.
Apparently Conner didn't like to flirt, so disheartened Emma gave up on looking for a guy and decided to head over to the festival to have some fun.
At the festival Emma participated in the egg hunt. She was much better at finding eggs than she was finding a man.
Suddenly Emma spotted a hot looking guy across the street at the theater and ran over to meet him. It was none other than Leighton Sekemoto. After spending only a few short moments with him Emma had found out that he was single and family-oriented.
Emma and Leighton kept flirting with each other throughout the night. Maybe this was her soul mate, or a match made in Sim heaven. One thing was certain for Emma, her life would never be the same again.
